Pressthe buttontoturnonthemeter.TheLCDwilldisplaytheSPLsymbol,withSLMonthe
lowerline.IfSLMisnotvisiblepressSETandNDMwillappear,presstheDownarrow to
changetoSLMandpressenter
toexit.
Pressthe buttontoscrollthroughtheavailabletestfunctionsforthismode:SPL,Leq,SEL,and
PKMAX.
Pressthe
buttontobegintesting.Pressthe buttonagaintopausetesting.
Ifthereadingexceedsthehightestingrange,theLCDdisplaywillshow
.Ifthereadingis
belowthelowtestingrange,theLCDdisplaywillshow .

TheLeqintegraltimeisthesamevalueasthesamplingtimesetting.
Whenthesamplingtimeissettozero,theintegrationtimecontinuesuntiltheuserexitsthemode.
Pressthe buttontostopthetest.

Caution:Windblowingacrossthemicrophonecanaddextraneousnoise.Whenthereiswind
presenthigherthan10m/s,thewindscreenmustbeusedtopreventundesirablesignals.Keepthe
microphonedryandavoidseverevibrations.


