EX050 (5 meters in length) ExStik

Extension Cable Kit

Compatibility: For use with these ExStik

Meters: DO600, EC400, EC500, CL200 and RE300

Cable and Guard Installation Instructions:

1. To remove the electrode, turn the instrument OFF and then unscrew the electrode retaining nut, and remove it (turn counter-clockwise

to remove).

2. Gently rock the electrode from side to side, pulling it away from the meter until it disconnects from the meter.

3. Attach the electrode to the cable by aligning the slots and pins, and carefully plugging the electrode into the cable socket. Be sure the

O-ring is between the probe sholder and the threaded end of the cable connecter.

4. Tighten the electrode retaining nut firmly to seal the electrode to the cable. Do not overtighten.

5. Attach the meter to the other end of the cable, using the same procedure as described in (3.) and (4.).

Note: The guard is not designed to be used without the cable. The cable can be used without the guard if desired.

Kompatibilität: Geeignet für alle ExStik-Messgeräte DO600, EC400, EC500, CL200 and RE300

Anleitung zur Installation von Kabel und Schutzvorrichtung:

1. Zum Entfernen der Elektrode zunächst das Gerät AUSSCHALTEN und den Elektrodenring abschrauben (zum Entfernen nach links

drehen).

2. Die Elektrode vorsichtig von einer Seite auf die andere bewegen und nach unten ziehen, bis sie sich vom Messgerät abtrennt.

3. Die Elektrode am Kabel befestigen. Hierzu die Schlitze und Stifte ausrichten und die Elektrode vorsichtig in die Kabelbuchse stecken.

Darauf achten, dass sich der O-Ring zwischen Sondenschulter und dem Gewindeende des Kabelsteckverbinders befindet.

4. Den Elektrodenring gut festdrehen, damit er eine gute Abdichtung zwischen Elektrode und Messgerät bietet. Nicht zu sehr festziehen.

5. Das Messgerät mithilfe derselben Methode, wie in (3) und (4) beschrieben, am anderen Kabelende befestigen.

Hinweis: Die Schutzvorrichtung kann nicht ohne Kabel benutzt werden. Das Kabel kann jedoch, falls gewünscht, ohne die Schutzvorrichtung

benutzt werden.
