GettingStarted
Usingacoin,openthebatterycompartmentbyturningthecompartmentlidtothe
leftandthenremovetheinsulatingstrip.Closethecompartmentafterremoving
theinsulatingstrip.
Removetheprotectivedisplayfoil.
Carefullyfoldoutthethermometerprobeandtheunitisnowreadytouse.
Thesensorislocatedatthetipoftheprobe.Tomeasuretemperature,insertthe
probeintothematerialundertesttoadepthofatleast0.4”(1cm).
Theprobehasarotationalangleof180degreesmaximum.
SwitchtheinstrumentpowerOFFbycarefully
foldingtheprobeintoitsstorage
position.
TheinstrumentwillautomaticallyswitchOFFafter60minutesofinactivity.To
switchtheinstrumentON,foldtheprobeinfor4secondsandthenfoldoutagain.
