Vacation Mode
When you plan to not use your sy󰍰em for 2 weeks to 1 month it should be Turned O. Locate the red Feed
Water Adapter Valve connected to your Cold Water Supply (refer to page 11).
Turn O Sy󰎤em: Turn the red Feed Water Adapter Valve to point away from the Red Tubing connection
(in the Closed position, page 11) to close the water supply to the sy󰍰em. Unplug the UV power cord from
the power outlet.
Turn On Sy󰎤em: Turn the red Feed Water Adapter Valve to point towards the Red Tubing connection
(in the Open position, page 11) to open the water supply to the sy󰍰em. Plug the UV power cord back
into the power outlet.
For deactivation of 1 month or more:
1. Shut the incoming water supply and drain entire sy󰍰em of water through the drinking faucet.
2. Remove each lter and place vertically on a pan until dry.
3. Place each lter individually in an air tight pla󰍰ic wrap completely sealed and place in the refrigerator for
the duration (if re-usable and less than 3 months old).
4. You may leave the Sy󰍰em and Filter Housings disassembled to ensure it 󰍰ays dry to prevent bacteria
growth.
5. You may wash the lter housings before replacing the lters back in.
NOTE! Depending on your area’s water you may not be able to reuse some or all of your lters. Please
contact us if you need more information.
