The ushing process is needed for your lters to work

NOTE! Do not drink water from your new sy󰎣em until you have completed Sy󰎣em Startup. The

ushing process is needed for your lters to begin working.

NOTE! If you connect the sy󰎣em to your refrigerator do not send water through your fridge until

ushing is complete. Carbon nes ushed during 󰎣artup will clog your refrigerator.

1. Open the handle on the Drinking Faucet (refer to page 13) then open the water supply to the Sy󰍰em (use

Cold Water Supply and Feed Water Adapter Valve refer to pages 11 and 12). Make sure the main water supply

is also on.

2. Wait up to 1 minute for water to 󰍰art owing 󰍰eadily from the faucet. Let the water ow for 10 additional

minutes.

3. Feel or visually inspect every connection point for leaks. If a leak occurs, turn the Feed Water Adapter Valve

OFF (refer to page 11) and x the leak before turning the ow on again.

These recommendations are intended for maximum eciency of your sy󰍰em.

Filter Storage

Store unopened lters in an airtight container to prevent them from absorbing air. Store in a cool,

dry, dark place (avoid heat and moi󰍰ure contamination). This prolongs the shelf life of the lters and

avoids any possible odors or contamination from the air. Using this method it is okay to 󰍰ore lters

for several years.

Extended Sy󰎣em Non-Use

If you will not be using the Sy󰍰em for two weeks-1 month you will need to follow the “Vacation

Mode” guide on page 23

Filter Replacements

You mu󰍰 replace lters as needed (the timing of this will depend on your water quality). With

average water quality your lters should be replaced once a year.

Sy󰎣em Cleaning

The entire sy󰍰em needs to be sanitized at lea󰍰 once a year. Without cleaning your lter life and

water quality may be compromised.

NOTE! You may notice the water has a milky color during the 1󰍰 week. This is an indication of air bubbles in

the water. This is normal during this period and the water is safe to drink.

4. You can now drink from your sy󰍰em. HOWEVER, after your new lters sit overnight you will need to ush

the sy󰍰em for 10 more minutes the following morning.

5. Check for leaks daily during the 1󰎣 week of use and periodically thereafter.
