3. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Determine the left and right sides of the machine from the normal operating position.
3.1 Installing the Handle
1. Mount the handle to the outside of the lawn mower housing on each side as shown
Fig. 1).
NOTE: You can adjust the handle height for comfortable operation. Stand behind
the handle to determine the height. Loosen the lower mounting bolt, adjust the
handle height as desired, and re-tighten lower bolts.
2. Move cable ties on each side of the handle bar into the locations shown and tighten
Fig. 1).
3.2 Installing the Fuel Tank and Fuel Line (For units with the tank shipped loose only)
1. Position the tank onto the bracket (Fig. 2).
2. Start the 3 self-tapping screws into the tank and tighten (Fig. 2). Do not overtighten
the screws.
3. Route the fuel line from the tank to the carburetor fuel fitting.
4. Remove the red cap from the end of the fuel line and from the end of the carburetor
fuel fitting (Fig. 3).
5. Slide the end of the fuel line onto the carburetor fuel fitting (Fig. 3).
