CAUTION
Excessivedebrisaroundenginecoolingair
intakeandexhaustsystemareacancauseengine,
exhaustarea,andhydraulicsystemtooverheat
whichcancreatearehazard.
Cleanalldebrisfromengineandexhaustsystem
area.
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Cleanalldebrisfromrotatingengineairintake
screen,aroundengineshrouding,andexhaust
systemarea.
3.Wipeupanyexcessivegreaseoroilaroundthe
engineandexhaustsystemarea
RemoveEngineShroudsand
CleanCoolingFins
ServiceInterval:Every100hours
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Removecoolingshroudsfromengineandclean
coolingns.Alsocleandust,dirtandoilfrom
externalsurfacesofenginewhichcancause
inadequatecooling.
3.Makesurecoolingshroudsarereinstalled.
Operatingtheenginewithoutcoolingshrouds
willcauseenginedamageduetooverheating.
CleanHydroCoolingFins
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
Removingdebrisfromthehydrocoolingnswill
allowthehydrosystemtoruncoolerandimprovethe
lifeofthehydrosystem.
