Theoperatorplatformisheavyandmay
causeinjurywhenloweringandraising
theoperatorplatform.Theplatformmay
suddenlydropifnotsupportedwhenthe
latchpinispulledout.
•DoNotputyourhandsorngersinthe
platformpivotareawhenloweringor
raisingtheoperatorplatform.
•Makesuretheplatformissupported
whenthelatchpinispulledout.
•Makesurethelatchsecurestheplatform
whenfoldingitintheupposition.Push
ittightagainstthecushionforthelatch
pintolockintoplace.

recommendedwhen:
•Mowingneardrop-off’s
•Mowingsmallareaswherethemachineistoolong
•Areaswithlowoverhangingbranchesorobstacles
•Loadingthemachinefortransport
•Unloadingthemachineaftertransport
•Drivinguporbackingdownslopesorramps.
•Turningintightareaswhereplatformmaycontact
obstacles.
Toraisetheplatform,pullthebottomupwardand
pushittightagainstthecushion.Thelatchpinknob
willsnapinwardtolocktheplatformintoplace(see
Figure12).
