6 Maintenance and
Troubleshooting
The IQ-200 Optical Test System family components have been designed to
require a minimum of maintenance and provide reliable operation for
many years. In addition, the IQ-203 has the same characteristics as a
computer, therefore, similar care should be taken.
Cleaning the IQ-203 Control Unit and IQ-206
Expansion Unit
To help ensure long, trouble-free operation,
➤ keep the unit free of dust;
➤ be careful not to spill liquids into the unit. If the unit does get wet,
turn the power off immediately, and let the unit dry completely before
turning it on again; and
➤ clean the unit with a slightly damp (with water) cloth.
To prevent dirt and dust from entering the module housing, replace
the protective cover plate when a slot is not in use.
