then clicking on Windows® Explorer. Browse to C:\Program Files\EXFO Ltd.\visi-shark and double-click on
visi-shark.exe.
If you have installed the software to a custom directory of your choice, then you must browse to that drive
and directory and double-click on visi-shark.exe to run it. If you cannot remember which drive and directory
the software is installed to, use the Windows® Find function to locate and run the file visi-shark.exe.
J.4 Setting up a New Connection with Visi-SHARK
To set up a connection between the PC and the CableSHARK, click the New Connection icon that
resides on the toolbar.
The user can also click on New Connection on the menu bar as shown below.

Next, click on “Setup Connection” on the pull-down menu that appears. The “Setup Connection Through…”
menu shown below appears.
