FIGURE 8.7.2A - RESULTS OF A AUTO-12 DMM TEST
NOTE: Warning messages may appear at the bottom of the DMM result screen
signifying that there is additional T-R capacitance, a missing shield or ground
connection or grounded Tip or Ring wires.
NOTE: For manually executed resistances tests, the maximum resistance will be up to
999 Mohm
For all tests, a user will have to press the RUN / STOP button to halt operation since all tests monitor the link
continuously for changes except for the Autotests and the Capacitance test.
Multiple tests results can be seen on the screen provided that NEXT TEST or DMM TESTS buttons are
selected to change the test type to another test rather than pressing the function button for MAIN MENU. If a
user presses MAIN MENU before a result(s) is saved or uploaded to a PC, all information on the screen will
be lost. NEXT TEST and DMM TESTS remember the last test result so another test can be run without
losing any information.
At the completion of a test, the function button command selection at the bottom of the DMM TESTS
RESULT screen consists of several options available to the operator. The following are brief descriptions of
each of the function button options:
