INSTRUCTION AND SAFETY MANUAL

WARNING!
This Pistol incorporates a well-designed safety device; however never rely completely on any safety mechanism. All mechanical devices are subject to
breakage, wear or incorrect maintenance and should never be trusted.
AMMUNITION:
This pistol was designed to use standard ammunition. Use only new commercially manufactured ammunition and only of the caliber for which your firearm is
chambered. Selected ammunition should be test fired at least 100 rounds to ensure reliability. Ammunition manufacturers can make changes to their
ammunition either dimensional, a different powder or primer. These changes could cause a previously reliable ammunition to cause malfunctions. One of the
keys to a reliable firearm is consistent ammunition.
WARNING!
The use of non-standard, reloaded or hand loaded ammunition voids all warranties. The use of such ammunition can cause damage to the firearm and serious
injury to the shooter or to others.
BREAK-IN PERIOD:
The normal break-in period for this pistol is 200 rounds.
SCREWS: Always keep dis-assembly screws tight. Periodically check them for
tightness.
LOADING:
To load the magazine push down the front of the follower with the rim of the cartridge, then slide the round back under the magazine lips. Repeat until the
magazine is loaded with up to 9 rounds. To unload the magazine, push each cartridge forward until it is no longer held by the magazine lips.
Load your firearm by keeping your finger off the trigger. Insert the magazine in the pistol by pushing it upward into the magazine well until it is retained by
the magazine catch. Grip the pistol with your shooting hand, keeping the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. With your other hand, grasp the serrated surfaces
at the rear of the slide and pull fully to the rear then release it promptly allowing it to return on its own. This action will chamber the first cartridge, cock the
hammer and the pistol is ready for firing.
UNLOADING:
Rotate the safety lever up to the “ON” position and remove the magazine by pushing the magazine catch rearward and pulling the magazine down and out of
the frame. Keeping the pistol pointed in a safe direction, pull the slide back fully to eject the cartridge from the chamber. Holding the slide back, look in the
chamber to ensure the pistol is empty. To de-cock your pistol, BE ABSOLUTLY SURE THE PISTOL IS UNLOADED AND HAS NO MAGAZINE
INSERTED, then pointing the pistol in a safe direction pull the trigger to “dry fire” the firearm, now the hammer has been de-cocked.
DISASSEMBLY:
WARNING!
ALWAYS CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOUR PISTOL IS UNLOADED BEFORE
YOU BEGIN TO DISASSEMBLE!
Remove the two screws on the top of the rib by the front and rear sights. Now pull the rib straight up and off. Disconnect the recoil spring from the slide and
the barrel. The slide can now be lifted up and off the frame. Do not allow the hammer to drop forward when the slide is removed, as this may cause damage to
internal parts. We suggest that you do not take down this firearm any further than is explained in this manual.
SCREWS: Always keep dis-assembly screws tight. Periodically check them for
tightness.
