Configuration - Line Parameter Threshold, Channel Assignment, User, and System Notes
1. This parameter appears on the screen only when the service is set for DDSNI, the Location parameter is set to central,
the Network parameter is set to multipoint, and the Automatic Poll parameter is set to disabled.
2. This parameter appears on the screen only when the service is set for DDSNI and the Multiport Framing parameter is set
to enabled.
3. For proper operation, all central and all remote units must have the same channel rate assignments. The possible DTE
data rate options are:
(a) Synchronous - 1.2 to 52.8 Kbps in multiples of 1200 bps (except 3.6 and 6 Kbps are not provided) and none.
(b) Asynchronous - 75, 150, 300, 600 bps; 1.2, 2.4, 4.8, 7.2, 9.6, 12, 14.4, 16.8, 19.2, 24, 28.8, 48 Kbps, and none.
4. Each channel may be assigned an alphanumeric name up to five characters long.
5. Data is interrupted while the unit is reset and reinitialized.
