The ExtendAir
®
(TDD) Series Direct Mount Digital Microwave Radios
The Exalt ExtendAir
®
(TDD) Series Direct Mount Digital Microwave Radios are the most advanced
carrier-class point-topoint terrestrial radio communications devices operating in the 24.05 to 24.25
GHz frequency bands. These radios feature the capability to direct-mount to a properly-specified
antenna, or can optionally be remote-mounted using a short flexible waveguide jumper between the
radio and the antenna.
The ExtendAir
®
(TDD) Series Direct Mount radios connect voice and/or digital data from one location
to another, obviating the need for copper or fiber connectivity, or enhancing existing connectivity by
providing a redundancy solution, a primary solution, and/or additional capacity. Figure 1 shows the
ExtendAir
®
(TDD) Series Direct Mount digital microwave radio.
