Description of the Areas
The table below describes the various parts of Multicam Setup window:
# Name of area Description
1. Title bar The title bar displays the following information:
• Multicam version
• server facility name (if any)
• chassis type
• server serial number
2. Configuration Lines This area shows all configurations the EVS server can
run:
• 16 configurations lines are available on an EVS
server. A default configuration is defined behind all
configuration lines, even if no name is assigned to
the configuration line.
• Each configuration line contains all configuration
parameters, which allow a very flexible
configuration of the EVS server.
See section "Configuration Lines" on page 11 for more
information.
3. Tools This area provides the main commands for server
administration and maintenance.
For more information, click the Tools command below
to go to the dedicated sections in the Multicam Setup
chapter:
• Import/export configuration lines
• Assign server facility name
• Import/export keyword files
• Export log files
• Options code management
• Hardware check
• Raid Configuration
• Set LAN PC address
• Set date and time
• Clear video disks
• Touch screen calibration (not available)
• Default to VGA
• Reboot
• Enable password for technical settings
4. Configuration
Summary
This area shows a summary of the server parameters
for the configuration line selected in the Configuration
Lines area.
The summary displays the following information:
1. codec type - bitrate - video standard
2. based config - INs/OUTs - No. audios
3. SDTI No. - server name - server type
