5.3.1 How To Export Data to an XML, TXT or
CSV File
You can export the metadata of all the clips located in a given folder to a TXT, XML of
CSV file.
To export data to an external file, proceed as follows:
1.
Double-click the XFile Clip Info Exporter
icon on the desktop to open the
XFile_ClipInfo_Exporter window.
Click the BROWSE button in the Folder to Scan area. The Browse for Folder
window is displayed.
2. In this window, select the folder where the MXF files are saved and click OK to
confirm the selection.

Click the BROWSE button in the Output File area. The Save As windo
w is
displayed.
4.
In this window, select the folder where the output file should be stored, the type of
requested file and type the name of the output file.
5. Click the SAVE button to confirm.
6. In the XFile_Clip_Exporter window, click the START button to proceed to the file
export.
The new file is a standard TXT, XML or CSV file, which can be easily exported to any
other software.
