6.2. Media Servers
6.2.1. Introduction
A Media Server is the location where all the media used within a Xedio installation will be
stored.
When you click the Media > Servers button, the Media Servers window is displayed in
the Work area, allowing you to define a media server.
6.2.2. Adding a Media Server
To add a media server, proceed as follows:
1. Right-click in the Media Server window and select New Media Server in the
contextual menu. A wizard opens.
2. Complete the fields described in the following table:
Field Description
Login Name Login name defined for the media server in its configuration
parameters.
Login Password Login password defined for the media server in its configuration
parameters.
Main IP IP address of the server used for media storage.
