7. Loading a Source Clip on the
Clip Player
Introduction
The action of "placing" a media or a clip on the Clip Player to preview it, sub-clipping it,
and so on, is called "loading a media or clip on the Player".
This can be done in different ways.
How to Load a Clip in the Clip Player
To load source clip on the Clip Player, proceed in one of the following ways:
• double-click the source clip from the Thumbnail view.
• double-click the source clip from the List view.
• right-click a clip or a thumbnail ans select Play from the contextual menu.
The clip boundaries displayed are the ones of the source clip.
To load the source clip on which a storyboard element is based, proceed in one of the
following ways:
• double-click the storyboard element in the Storyboard area and the clip will display in
the Clip Player.
• drag the storyboard element from the Storyboard area to the Clip Player.
