4.7.3. Linking a Clip or Edit to a Story
To link a clip or edit to a story in Octopus, proceed as follows:
1. Split the Octopus main window so you can see the Rundown View and the
IPMOSBrowser.
2. In the rundown, double-click the story you want to link a clip or edit to.
3. Click the Edit button.
4. If necessary, add a story element.
5. In the IPMOSBrowser, search for and select the clip or edit you want to link to the
story.
6. Drag the clip or edit to the Name or ID field of the story element.
The name and VarID of the clip or edit appear in these fields.
