What's New?
In the user manual, the icon has been added on the left margin to highlight
information on new and updated features.
The sections updated to reflect the new and modified features in IPDirector version 6.2
(compared to version 6.0) are listed below.
Use of video routers with IPDirector - Associated Player Channel
Video routers can be used with IPDirector to increase the number of output channels able
to play out the media from a player channel.
The names of the router ports routed to the EVSserver channels are shown in the
interface:
• See section "Player Field" on page 12.
The assignment between router INports and router OUTports can be switched from the
Control Panel:
• See section "Managing the Links with a Video Router" on page 51.
Name of the recorder channels in the E/Econtextual menu
If a recorder channel is connected to an OUT port of a video router, itself associated to an
INport, the name of the router INport is displayed after the recorder channel name in the
E/Econtextual menu.
• See section "How to Select a Train or a Recording Ingest from the Panel" on page 57.
