BEPlay Remote Configuration
Overview of the Remote Control Manager Window
The configuration of the BEPlay remote device is performed from the Remote Control
Manager window.
You can access this window from the IPDirector main window, via Tools > Remote
Control Manager. Then, select the tab corresponding to the BEPlay Remote device.
There can only be one BEPlay remote per IPDirector workstation.
The remote configuration is linked to the workstation, not to the user.
From this window, you will be able to
• assign channels to the remote Function buttons
• select a remote layout
• define target destinations to send the controlled media to
• monitor the connection status.
Monitoring the Connection Status
The connection status is monitored from the Monitoring area.
The remote can be connected through a RS422 port or a USB port. The RS422 port must
be configured in the Remote Installer.
