• Press the shortcut to set the speed of the on-air element.

Then enter a speed value in the Set Speed window:

The selected custom speed is displayed in the Custom Speed field

and the media is played with the given speed.

In the second and third cases, the Play button turns to if the speed

corresponds to 100% or to the VAR Play speed value, or the Play button turns to

with other speed values.

The Pause button stops the playback of a clip if loaded or freezes the record train

loaded at the current timecode. The keyboard’s [space bar] will also stop current

playback.

By default the pause is performed on a field. When you right-click the button, you

can choose either the Pause on frame or the Pause on field modes from the

contextual menu. The option selected will then be applied each time the user

clicks the Pause button.

The Fast Rewind button makes it possible to rewind the loaded media.
