4.13 LINKING CLIPS
Clips can be linked together in a Gang mode. See section below ‘How to Link
Clips’ on page 55 for more information.
Th
ey can also be associated in a Fill & Key mode. Refer to chapter Fill & Key
Management in part 6 of the IPDirector user manual.
4.13.1 HOW TO LINK CLIPS
Clips created on ganged channels are automatically linked. However, you can also
link clips manually in the Database Explorer.
To link clips, proceed as follows:
1. Open the Database Explorer and locate the clips you wish to link.
2. Select the clips to link while keeping the CTRL key pressed.
3. Right-click the grid.
The clip contextual menu is displayed.
4. Select Link.
The icon appears in the Ganged column.
