Clip Transition – Transition Type
Note
This field is only available when the channel is set in PGM/PRV mode.
Otherwise, they are dimmed.
The left drop-down list field allows the users to select the clip effect type to be
used for transitions between the elements of the playlist. This effect will be
applied to the audio and video transitions of all elements of the playlist loaded.
Clip Transition – Transition Duration
This right field, the Transition Duration field, makes it possible to specify the
duration of the effect type defined in the Transition Type field. The user can
specify the duration, in seconds and frames, up to 20 seconds.
The transition type is only available for effects other than “cut”. By default, the
transition duration is 00s00, hence no transition is applied.
You can modify the value in two possible ways:
• Select the whole value and enter 4 digits following the pattern 00s00: 2 digits
for seconds, 2 digits for frames.
• Select only the 2 digits for the seconds or the 2 digits for the frames and only
modify this part of the value.
