PLAY BUTTON

The Play button allows playing the media on the Control Panel at normal speed
(100%)
CUSTOM SPEED FIELD
The Custom Speed field indicates at which speed the media is played.
You can define the custom speed from the or button by right-
clicking on the button and selecting a speed value in the contextual menu. Refer
to sections 0 and 0 for more information about those buttons.

e CTRL+P shortcut allows playing the media at a different speed, according to
what is set in the Tools > Settings > Control Panel category. See the section
1.2.12 ‘Settings’ on page 49 for more information on the speeds.

e selected custom speed will be displayed in the Custom Speed field and the
media will be played with the given speed.

The Pause button stops the playback of a clip if loaded or freezes the record train
loaded at the current timecode. The keyboard’s [space bar] will also stop current
playback.
By default the pause is performed on a field. When you right-click the button, you
can choose either the Pause on frame or the Pause on field modes from the
contextual menu. The option selected will then be applied each time the user
clicks the Pause button.
