6.4 THE PLAY-LIST ZONE
The Play-List zone has a tab structure allowing the operator to
create as many play-list tabs as required. There is one default
tab labelled “New” to permit the addition of play-list tabs.
6.4.1 CREATING A TAB FOR A PLAY-LIST
To create a tab to enable a play-list to be built and edited, select
the NEW tab in the Play-List zone and then drag the desired
play-list from the list view in the tree display area onto the NEW
tab. A tab will appear and open in the Play-List zone and will
show the name of the play-list on the tab
6.4.2 REMOVING A TAB FROM THE PLAY-LIST ZONE
When the operator right-clicks on the play-list tab name, a
contextual menu is displayed:
Selecting this option opens a dialogue box asking for
confirmation of the removal, which when confirmed will remove
the tab from the play-list zone
Note
This item is greyed and therefore not accessible if the
play-list has an on-air status (the on-air button has
been selected on the tab, for a description of the
functionality of the on-air button, see later in this
section).
6.4.3 REMOVING ALL TABS FROM THE PLAY-LIST
ZONE
Selecting this option opens a dialogue box asking for
confirmation of the removal of all tabs in the Play-List Editor
window, which when confirmed will remove all tabs from the play-
list zone, including tabs with an on-air status. Only the default
‘new’ tab will remain
