This will ensure that the stand remains rigid during cutting operations. • All four legs must be set to the same length. If the length of the legs is adjusted, ensure that the inner leg locking pins are fully engaged with the relevant holes in the outer leg tube.

www.evolutionpowertools.com Do the same operation with the second nut and bolt; when both fixed clamps are in position, then tighten securely so there is no movement. (Fig.5) Repeat the same operation for the second fixed clamp. ADJUSTABLE CLAMP ASSEMBLY Fig. 5 Align the adjustable clamp component onto the corresponding plastic shape in the long slot that is attached to the leadscrew. Drop bolt through (Fig.6) and tighten up firmly.
www.evolutionpowertools.com EXTENSION ARMS (Fig.10) Note: The supplied extension arms are not ‘handed’ and will fit either the RH (right hand) or LH (left hand) sides of the machine table. To fit the extension arms • • The extension arms slide through the square section guide tubes located on the underside of the stands table top (Fig. 11a). A locking screw (Fig. 11b) is located on both of the square section guide tubes. Fig.
www.evolutionpowertools.com WORKPIECE SUPPORT BARS Workpiece support bars are provided for each extension arm. These fit through the square tube located at the end of each arm and are secured in place by tightening the locking screw (Fig. 13) Note: The support bar(s) should be set so that the top bearing surface matches exactly (and therefore will provide support) the underside of a secured workpiece. Fig. 13 Usually the underside of a workpiece will be resting on the base of the vice fitted to the chopsaw.
www.evolutionpowertools.com Note: Height-adjustable secondary clamps are provided on the adjustable clamps. (Fig. 17). This feature enables these clamps to be configured to accommodate the wide variety of chopsaw bases presently available from various manufacturers. Note: Evolution pressed steel bases and some other brand bases have a lip at the bottom of the base. If your saw has a lip that protrudes under the clamp then you do not need to fit the secondary top clamp. (Fig. 18) Fig.
www.evolutionpowertools.com CUTTING OPERATIONS MAINTENANCE Refer to the Instruction Manual provided by the manufacturer/supplier of the machine fitted.
