BODY AND HAND POSITIONING
(Fig. 10)
Never place your hands within the ‘no hands
zone’ (at least 150mm away from the blade).
Keep hands away from the path of the blade.
Secure the workpiece rmly to the table and
against the fence to prevent any movement.
Use a Hold Down Clamp if possible but
check that it is so positioned that it does not
interfere with the path of the blade or other
moving machine parts.
Avoid awkward operations and hand positions
where a sudden slip could cause your ngers
or a hand to move into the blade.
Before attempting a cut, make a dry run’
with the power o so that you can see the
path of the blade.
Keep your hands in position until the
ON/OFF trigger switch has been released
and the blade has completely stopped.
ADJUSTMENT OF
PRECISION ANGLES
Several checks/adjustments are possible on
this machine. The operator will require a 90

these checks and adjustments.
WARNING: Checks/adjustments must only be
conducted with the machine disconnected
from the power supply.
