Onboard Device Function
The following information is provided as a reference for the Onboard
Device Function of the BIOS. Below is an illustration of the menu for this
section. See Figure 3.7.
AC97 Sound Device
Set this option to Enabled to use the on-board AC97 Audio features.
The configuration options for this setting are Auto, Enabled and
Disabled.
nVIDIA LAN Function
Set this option to Enabled to use the on-board 250 LAN feature. The
configuration options for this setting are Auto, and Disabled.
MAC Media Interface
Use this item to set the MAC Media Interface feature. The configuration
options for this setting are Pin Strap, MII and RGMI.
LAN MAC Address Input
This feature allows the user to enter the MAC Address of the network.
USB Host Controller
This item controls the USB support on the motherboard. If Enabled is
selected, the USB 2.0 Support option and the USB KB/Storage
Support option can be configured.
USB 2.0 Support - Select Enabled if the system contains a
Universal Serial Bus (USB) 2.0 controller and will be used. Set this
function to one of the configuration options: Enabled or Disabled.
USB KB/Storage Support - Select Enabled if the system contains
a Universal Serial Bus (USB) controller and will have a USB
keyboard attached. Set this function to one of the configuration
options: Enabled or Disabled.
