Install vertically with cartridge hanging down.
Allow 2-1/2" (6.35 cm) clearance below the
cartridge for easy cartridge replacement.
Use piping materials suitable for
high-purity water after MRS System.
Proper pre-treatment is required to
control MR cartridge (membrane) scale
formation and/or fouling.
Raw water hardness in excess of seven (7)
grains per gallon should be softened to
extend cartridge life.
The raw water may contain chlorine or
other oxidizers and the use of a carbon
pre-filter is recommended.
Change MR cartridge on a regular
preventative maintenance program.
Change MR cartridge when output
capacity diminishes by 15%, or when
output pressure becomes too low.
Always flush the MR cartridge at time of
installation and cartridge change.
