Lightning MTS Continues the Tradition
First Introduced in 2009, the PowerMTS units have excelled at providing
rock solid performance and industry leading features. More than once the
PowerMTS has lead the market with a new idea or design.

The new Lightning MTS series continues the tradition of rsts and exceeds
the expectations established by the PowerMTS series. A completely new
take on the MTS (MIG/TIG/Stick) type units, the Lightning features the
industry’s rst MIG/TIG (AC and DC output)/Stick unit. Expanding upon
the rst MIG/ AC-DC TIG/Stick design found in the PowerMTS 221STi and
PowerMTS 252STi, the Lightning series now offers synergic operation in
all modes. It has a large, very visible TFT display. This new display de-
sign features a pinwheel menu design that allows nearly every commonly
used feature to be viewed and accessed at the same time. Every value
that you’d expect is right out front where you can see it. You want spent
needless time accessing hidden menus, or scrolling through endless lists
to make a setting change. No, we’ve thought it through and given you the
best of the best, giving you a view of settings at a glance.
