1. Clean debris and dry desired area.
2. Cut tip off cartridge. Screw nozzle on end and cut tip to desired bead size. Insert cartridge into standard caulk
gun.
3. Hold at 45° angle and apply by pushing sealant ahead of nozzle to achieve a smooth seal. Apply using a
steady, even pressure to completely bridge joints.
4. Complete tooling within 5 minutes. Use dry paper towler to remove excess material. Smooth caulk using wet
nger or a damp cloth for a clean, neat appearance.
5. Sealant normally “skins over” in 5 minutes, dries to touch in 1 hour, and cures & bonds in 24 hours. Allow 7 day
cure time to reach maximum strength.
Application Limitations:
Structural silicone glazing
Joints where physical abuse or abrasion is likely to be encountered
Prolonged water immersion
Porous surfaces, such as masonry
Building materials that might bleed oils, plasticizers, or solvents - materials such as impregnated wood, oil-
based caulks, green or partially vulcanized rubber gaskets or tapes.
Totally conned spaces, as sealant requires atmospheric moisture for cure.
Surfaces that will be painted, as paint will not stretch with extensions of the sealant and may crack & peel
