Gateway: This address allows the DVR to access the Internet. The format of the Gateway

address is the same as the IP Address. For example, “192.168.001.001”.

IPv6 Address: The IPV6 address of the DVR.

IPv6 Gateway: This address allows the DVR to access the Internet.

DNS: DNS1 is the primary DNS server and DNS2 is a backup DNS server. Usually, it’s enough

to just enter the DNS1 server address.

Default: Click to apply the default setting.

Apply: Click to save the settings.

4.4.1.2 PPPoE

This is a DSL-connection application. The ISP will ask the user to input a username and

password. Contact your ISP for these details.

Note: If PPPoE is selected as the IP type, the supplied IP Utility program will not be able to

detect the device.

Check the Enable PPPoE box, and then enter the User name and Password provided by the

ISP. Click the Apply button, the system will reboot to activate the PPPoE setting.
