5.1 Remote Archive
You can remotely archive the recordings from the (Mobile) DVR / NVR to the computer, or
remotely copy the recordings to the USB storage device or DVD burner of the (Mobile) DVR /
NVR. There are two ways for remote archiving: Automatically and Manually. For
automatically remote archiving, please refer to Chapter 9, Archiving Schedule for (Mobile)
DVR.
To start manually remote archiving, on the Main Screen, click Devices, click Archive and
select DVR, Mobile DVR or NVR. The archiving setup window appears.
For DVR:

Camera: Check the boxes to select the desired cameras or check Select All to select all
cameras.
From Date…To Date: Select the desired time period. You can simply set up the date and time
period by clicking on the number and type the desired date and time.
Stream Type: Select Main or Sub stream. This option is only available for DVRs.
Copy Type: Select Remote to archive the recordings to the computer or select Copy at DVR
to remotely copy the recordings to the DVR. Select Copy at DVR will display the Copy To
option below.
