3. General Operation
There are three ways to control the ENVR8304D-8CH / ENVR8304DE-8CH: with a Mouse, the
handheld IR Remote Controller, or the optional device EKB500 Keyboard. For details on the IR
remote control, please refer to Appendix C, IR Remote Control. This chapter will discuss the basic
operations using the mouse and the front panel buttons.
3.1 Login
In order to access ENVR8304E-8CH, you may be prompted to log in for authority identification.
To log in, follow the steps below.
1. Right-click on the screen, the Login window appears.

2. Select a user name from the drop-down list. Click the Password field to bring up the
on-screen keyboard. Click the buttons and then click to confirm the User Name /
Password.

3. The default user name and password are:
User: admin / Password: 11111111

Management.
4. Click Login to log in the NVR.
