Quick Installation Guide

 Unpack Everything



Make sure you have everything you need before you begin the installation.

The following tools may help you to complete the installation:

 Choosing the Location Choose a location for installation that:

ΘProvides convenient access for installing or removing the hard drive

ΘAllows air to flow around the fan vents. Inadequate or improper air flow can impede proper operation of

the unit

Avoid any location for installation:

ΘThat is subject to high vibration

ΘThat is subject to high sunlight levels

ΘThat is subject to drenched of the rain

ΘWhere passengers can interfere with unit

ΘNext to a heater duct

The following table lists the recommended location options. 

Caution: Do not install the DVR on the floor or on the transmission access hatch. These locations

have the highest levels of vibration and may be subject to water damage.
