If
your
drive
has
additional
partitions,
you
must
format
each
partition
separately;
to
choose
a
partition
to
format,
press
the
[F2]
key
to
move
the
cursor
into
the
Partitions
menu
field, use
the
cursor
keys
to
select
the
partition,
and
press
the
[F2] key
again
to
confirm
your
selection.

Once
you
finish
logically
formatting
each
partition,
press
the
[FlO]
key
to leave
the
program;
a message will
prompt
you to press a key
to
reboot
the
system.
Make
sure
the
floppy
drive
door
is open,
then
proceed
to
reboot
the
system.
When
your
system
comes
up
with
a
"C>"
prompt,
your
hard
disk is
ready
for
use.

If
your
disk
contains
more
than
one
DOS-usable
partition
(eg.
Extended
DOS
or
Super
DOS
partitions),
you
must
create
a CONFIG.8YS file
in
order
to use these
extra
partitions.
To
create
this file:
a.
Boot
up
your
system
from
your
hard
disk.
b.
Use
the
DOS
COpy
command
to
copy
the
file
EVDISK.SYS
from
the
EVERDISK
utility
diskette
to
the
hard
disk.
c.
Type
in
the
following
lines
(DO
NOT
do
this
step
if
you
already
have
a CONFIG.8YS file
on
your
hard
disk;
instead
use a
text
editor
to
enter
the
line
device=evdisk.sys
in
the
CONFIG.8YS file):
