Extended

Memory

Users

If

you

plan

to use

the

RAM

3000 Deluxe

in

conjunction

with

an

extended-memory

only

operating

system

(for

example

OS/2

and

Xenix), please

note

that

you

cannot

use

the

EVlS9.EXE

configuration

and

diagnostics

program

on

the

RAM

3000 Deluxe software diskette

when

running

these

operating

systems.

In

these cases, we suggest doing

the

following:

1.

Bootup

your system

with

a PC-DOS

or

MS-DOS

Version

3.x

system diskette

in

drive A.

Replace

the system diskette

with

the

RAM

3000 Deluxe

software

diskette

and

run

the

EVlS9.EXE

program

to

configure

and

test your board.

This

will ensure

that

the

RAM

3000 Deluxe

board

will

work

properly

when

running

extended-memory programs.
