Owner`s manual
Follow
these steps
to
create
a
RAM
disk
with
EDISK.syS:
1.
EDISK.syS is called
up
during
the
boot-up process
from
a special file called CONFIG.syS
on
your
system disk.
CONFIG.syS defines a series
of
hardware-related
"chores"
that
you
want
to
perform
each
time
you
boot
up
the
system.
2.
If
you already
have
a CONFIG.syS file
on
the
system
disk, you
can
add
the
EDISK.syS
command
line by
using a
text
editor
or
word processor.
3.
If
you do
not
have
a CONFIGSYS file
in
your
system,
create
the
EDISK.syS
RAM
disk by
typing
in
the
fol-
lowing lines.
DO
NOT
do this
step
if
a CONFIGSYS
file already exists
on
your
system disk as
it
will
overwrite
your
old CONFIGSYS file.
