Assemble the new switch

WARNING

Disconnect the power from the pump before attempting to replace the switch.

For use only with Everbilt sump pumps (Max. rating 10A at 125V/60Hz).

1. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet.

Take the pump out of the sump pit.

2. Unscrew the float cord nut. Unplug the float plug

and remove the old switch from the pump.

3. Replace the failed float switch with the new same

direct-in float switch and tighten the shunt plug

with the screw nut.

Note: If the pump is preassembled with

the direct-in vertical oat switch, you must

replace with a direct-in vertical oat

switch.

If the pump is preassembled with the

direct-in tethered oat switch, you must

replace with a direct-in tethered oat

switch.
