Utility Pumps
Typical Applications
Pumping out aquariums, waterbeds, spas, HVAC systems, utility, tubs,
clogged sinks, broken washing machines, window wells, rooftops and
flooded areas that collect water.
NOTICE: The utility pumps should only be used with clear water lacking
large debris.
Where Used
Typical Application
In areas where water needs to be pumped away or transferred to
another area.
Types of Utility Pumps
• Portable transfer models provide flexibility for use in a variety of
applications. Pump motor cannot be submerged in water.
NOTICE: You must use the included suction strainer when using the
pump.
• Submersible offers Auto On/Off as well as manual operation. Motor can
be completely submerged in water. Removes water down to 1/8 in
depth.
• Pool Cover removes water from the top of a pool cover.
• Condensate pumps remove condensation caused by air conditioner or
furnace.
• All-in-one pump kit for both emergency dewatering and every-day water
transfer. Durable crate included for both storage and filtering large
debris from entering the pump.
NOTICE: The All-in-one kit has a crate to block large debris already, but
the pump itself should not be placed in water with large debris.
If application involves moving medium to large amounts of water and
a bottom suction type can be used, then use a submersible pump.
How do I determine what type of pump I need?
1.
All units, except for the automatic utility pump (The only pump that
turns off & on automatically) and Condensate pumps, are manual
operation. You need to manually start and stop the pump.
Will the pumps shut off automatically?
2.
If you have a small box at the base of your furnace with a tube
running into it, and wiring going into the furnace, you probably have
a condensate pump.
How do I know if I have a Condensate pump?
3.
Depending on which unit you purchased, 5/8 in x 25 ft garden hoses
(Internet#100661323) or 5/8 in x 50 ft (Internet#100661312) might
be needed.
To get best the performance from a submersible use 3/4 in x 50 ft
garden hose (Internet#204838903).
What additional items may I need?
