Safety Information
WARNING: Read these instructions completely before
proceeding with the installation. Only qualied personnel
may install or service this equipment in accordance
with local codes and ordinances. Improper installation,
adjustment, alteration, service, or maintenance can cause
property damage, severe injury, or death.
WARNING: Do not exceed 80 psi (5.5 bar) air charge. Air
charge pressure exceeding 80 psi (5.5 bar) could become
hazardous and will void the warranty. Failure to follow
these instructions could result in property damage, injury,
or death.
WARNING: This expansion tank is designed and intended
for water storage at a maximum pressure of 150 psi (10.3
bar) and a maximum temperature of 200 °F (93 °C). Any use
other than for potable water or a sustained or instantaneous
pressure in excess of 150 psi (10.3 bar) or 200 °F (93 °C) is
unsafe and could cause property damage, injury, or death.
WARNING: A relief valve must be installed to prevent
pressure in excess of local code requirements or maximum
working pressure designated in the product manual,
whichever is lower. The relief valve must be inspected by
a licensed contractor at least once every three years or if
discharge is present. Failure to inspect the relief valve could
result in unsafe temperature or pressure build-up, which
can result in product failure, property damage, serious
injury, or death.

NOTICE: Water quality can signicantly inuence the life of the
product. Test for corrosive elements, acidity, total solids, and other
relevant contaminants, including chlorine, and treat your water
appropriately to ensure satisfactory performance.
Warranty
The manufacturer warrants the product to be free from defect in materials and workmanship for a period of ve (5) years from date of
purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and only to the products used in normal use and service. If the product is
found to be defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the product at the
manufacturer’s sole discretion, provided the product has not been damaged through misuse, accident, alteration, modications, or general
mishandling. The warranty shall not apply to the nish, as this is considered normal wear and tear
