Recessed Dryer Vent Box
Notice
For gas dryer installations: Use a utility knife to cut out gas punchouts on the top of dryer vent box before installing.
Installing dryer vent box

REMOVING THE MOUNTING BRACKETS
□ Cut zip tie to remove brackets from dryer box frame and
attach them to the sides of the box using a rubber mallet
to tap into position.

DISCONNECTING THE ROUND TO OVAL DUCT
ADAPTER
□ Disconnect round to oval duct adapter from dryer vent box
by pressing the round tabs on both sides.

POSITIONING THE DRYER VENT BOX
□ Position dryer vent box between studs at least 1 ½”
from the oor to allow for the trim piece. Screw both
long brackets on one side and both short brackets on
the other side, being careful not to over tighten

ATTACHING IN-WALL DUCT TO OVAL DRYER VENT
BOX PORT
□ Attach solid metal in-wall duct to oval dryer vent
box port.

INSTALLING DRY-WALL
□ Install drywall around dryer vent box.

ATTACHING TRIM PIECE
□ Snap trim piece into place.

ATTACHING ADAPTER ONTO DUCT
□ Thread the adapter onto exible aluminum foil duct or
semi-rigid aluminum duct by turning counter clockwise

CONNECTING DUCT TO DRYER
□ Connect opposite end of duct to dryer using a worm gear
clamp (not included). Snap duct adapter piece back into
the dryer vent box and push the dryer into place, being
careful not to crush the duct.
Warranty
WHAT IS COVERED
All merchandise is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material for one year from the date of purchase. This includes normal wear and performance failure on items. The manufacturer will replace or repair at their
option.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty only covers normal wear and performance failure. It does not cover any malfunction, performance failure, or defect arising from the misuse, abuse, neglect, or modication of the product. Any damage or malfunction
inicted upon the product by the user or other external sources, or any failure to comply with the warnings and instructions, is not covered.
