Flush Valve
Five Year Limited Product Warranty
Xiamen R&T Plumbing Technology Co., Ltd. (below referred as R&T)
warrants to HOMEDEPOT that,
subject to the terms, conditions and limitations stated herein, R&T will replace any Fill Valve or
Flush Valve should it fail under normal installation and use within five (5) years after date of
purchase.
TERMS, CONDITIONS, LIMITATIONS
1. HOMEDEPOT shall give R&T written notice within 30 days of failure. Such notice shall set
forth the date of installation and the nature of the defect and shall request return
authorization for warranty evaluation.
2. Upon receipt of R&T’s return authorization, HOMEDEPOT shall send the alleged defective
product to R&T for warranty evaluation.
3. If, upon R&T inspection, R&T determines that the failure is caused by defects in R&T
materials or workmanship supplied or provided by R&T, R&T sole responsibility shall be to
replace the defective product at no cost to HOMEDEPOT. The replacement of the defective
part shall be HOMEDEPOT exclusive remedy. R&T will not be responsible for the cost of
removing the defective product or installing the replacement.
4. This limited warranty shall be null and void if, in the sole judgement of R&T , the product is
damaged as a result of an intentional or negligent act, improper installation, product abuse,
or product misuse.
5. This limited warranty shall be null and void if, in the sole judgement of R&T , any of the
following shall occur:
a. If material or design modifications are made to the Fill Valve or Flush Valve
including (but not limited to) using non-R&T replacement parts or altering the shape
of any of the components.
b. Use of bowl cleaners containing calcium hypochlorite, chlorine or chloramines
and/or ammonia or other organic solvents, whether performed by a contractor,
service company or Purchaser.
c. HOMEDEPOT fails to comply with any of the terms or conditions stated herein.
d. The valve is installed and operated beyond R&T proposed water pressure (which
stipulated in R&T installation instruction) 0.02MPA-0.8MPA (similar to 1.45PSI –
116PSI).
R&T SHALL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY.
