The Footswitches
The Footswitches have several functions:
1) Active/Bypass
2) Select/Cueing Presets
3) Tap Tempo
4) Enable Tuner
5) Setting Levels (See Setting Levels for details)
The Left Footswitch is used to bypass/enable the effect or to load a cued preset:
To bypass the currently loaded Preset, press the Left Footswitch. The LED will turn
OFF and the display will briefly show [BYPASS] and then display the Preset Number
and Name. Pressing the Left Footswitch again enables the Preset. The display
briefly shows [ACTIVE] to indicate that the Preset is enabled.
To load a cued preset press the Left Footswitch when the preset number is
flashing. The new Algorithm will be briefly displayed.
The Right Footswitch is used to step up or down through the Presets or to tap
tempo. Press and hold the Right Footswitch to toggle between these two
functions. The Tap LED indicates the current function - Preset cueing: Tap LED
OFF, Tap: Tap LED ON.
Using the Right Footswitch to Cue Presets
With the Tap LED OFF, press the Right Footswitch to step up (increment) or step
down (decrement) through the Presets. The direction is changed by pressing the
Knob. The display will show the Preset Number and the first 4 characters of the
Preset Name [##.XXXX]. When a Preset is cued the Preset number flashes. Pressing
the Left Footswitch loads the cued Preset and makes it Active.
TIP: When the tap LED is off, pressing the encoder will make the Footswitch
decrement instead. Pressing it again will go back to increment.
TIP: You can cancel a pending cue by pressing any of the radio buttons or by
pressing and holding the encoder.
You can also load Presets by turning the Knob to the preset number of your
choice. First, press the Right Footswitch to display the current Preset number and
name and then turn the Knob. When you stop turning the Knob, the preset will
