Safety
KeeptheairrieonSAFE until you're ready to shoot, then push the safety
OFF.
WARNING:
To activate the safety, push the safety catch lever rearward to the S position.
Whenthesafetyisengaged,thetriggerislockedandtheriecannotbered.
Todisengagethesafetyandretherie,pushthesafetyleverforwardtotheF
position.
Inadditiontothesafetycatch,aloadedandcockedriecanbemadesafeby
decocking(uncocking).Todecocktherie,rstpullthesideleverbacktotherear
position and remove the magazine. While holding the sidelever, squeeze the trigger
andlettheleverreturnforwardunderyourcontrol.Therieisnowdecocked.
CAUTION! When decocking the rie, a pellet may still be in the breech.
Theriesarettedwithamechanismthatpreventsdoublefeedingofpellets.Ifthe
rieisdouble-loadedbymistake,removethemagazinefromtherie,closethe
bolt,pointtherieatasafetargetand—whensafetodoso—retherietoremove
the pellet(s).
Whennotinuse,therieshouldbeunloadedanduncocked.Removethe
magazine and leave the bolt closed and uncocked when not in use.
Topreventunauthorizeduse,storethemagazineandpelletsseparatefromtherie.
