Instruction Manual
Safety
To activate the safety, push the safety catch lever
rearward to the S position. When the safety
is engaged, the trigger is locked and the rie
cannot be red. To disengage the safety and re
the rie, push the safety lever forward to the F
position.
When not in use, remove the magazine and
leave the hammer uncocked. To prevent
unauthorized use, store the magazine and pellets
separate from the rie.
Keep the air rie on SAFE until you're ready to shoot, then push the safety OFF.
4
Do not inhale dust from lead pellets or put lead pellets in the mouth. Wash hands after
handling lead. Lead pellets contain lead, a chemical known to the State of California to
cause cancer and birth defects (or other reproductive harm).
Use the correct pellet size for your Evanix rie model. Never reuse pellets. The use of any
other kind of ammunition can cause injury to you or damage to your rie.
WARNINGS:
Maintenance tips
1. Clean your rie's exterior with a good-quality silicone product. Apply the silicone to a
lint-free cloth and then wipe down the rie's exterior.
2. Do NOT leave the air ller hole exposed. Always replace the protective cover when not
lling the gun with air.
3. Do NOT rely solely on the safety to provide guaranteed safety. YOU are the ultimate
safety for your gun.
4. Do NOT leave pellets loaded in the breech of the rie. Always remove the magazine
from the rie when you are done shooting.
5. Do NOT ll the rie quickly with air. If it is charged too quickly, it can dislodge the
valve from its seat, cause excess heat buildup and give inaccurate ll pressure readings.
6. Do NOT overll the rie beyond the ll pressure stated on the front of this manual.
Overlling the gun could be dangerous, damage the rie, deliver substandard perfor-
mance and cause it to malfunction.
7. Do NOT use mineral-based oils or greases.
8. Do NOT use petroleum-based oils or greases.
9. Occasionally, lightly lubricate the probe o-rings with diver's silicone grease.
