8.4.3 Fallback Settings
The fallback can be used to call out via different routing when the previous call fails. This reduces the
calling failure rate and simplifies the dialing.
z No: Fallback Sequence Number.
If the old number matches more than one rule, the rule of fallback generated number with
smaller sequence number will be dial first. If failed again, the rule of next sequence
number will be dialed, and so on until call connects.
z Old Number: Old dialed number or prefix
Example: You dialed 123456 and failed, you may enter 123456 in the old number for the
fallback function.. You may also enter, for example, 9 as prefix and enable match function,
then every call with the prefix 9 may fallback to the new number.
z New Number :Fallback new number
Rule: ${EXTEN} represents the dialing number string, ${EXTEN:1} represents dialing
number string with one prefix digit trancated, and 0${EXTEN:1} will add prefix “0”.
Example: If the fallback new number is 654321, you may enter 654321. When 123456
fails, the system will dial the new number 654321.
