AREA-8: This is a normally closed, instant-acting, intrusion zone type for area 8 of the system.

When area 8 is armed, a violation of this zone will operate central/monitoring station

INTRUSION panel relay output 1, output C-LEM 1, TIMED BELL panel relay output 7, output

C-LEM 7, area INTRUSION output C-LEM 38 and the event will be logged.

COMMON: This is a normally closed, instant-acting, intrusion zone type for the common area

of the system. The common area could be, for example, a lobby or a cafeteria. When any one

area of the system is disarmed, then the common area is also disarmed. When all active areas

are armed, then the common area is also armed. When the panel is fully armed, a violation of

this zone will operate central/monitoring station INTRUSION panel relay output 1, output

C-LEM 1, TIMED BELL panel relay output 7, output C-LEM 7, area INTRUSION output

C-LEM 39 and the event will be logged.

EXIT-1: This normally closed zone type is used to monitor the entry/exit door for area 1 of the

system. As area 1 is armed, the piezo-sounder will beep to indicate that it is safe to leave the

area. When you enter area 1 through the EXIT-1 zone, the piezo-sounder will beep again to

remind you to disarm that area. The amount of entry time is the same as the amount of exit time

set by the Exit-1 Time variable (see page 48).

EXIT-2: This normally closed zone type is used to monitor the entry/exit door for area 2 of the

system. As area 2 is armed, the piezo-sounder will beep to indicate that it is safe to leave the

area. When you enter area 2 through the EXIT-2 zone, the piezo-sounder will beep again to

remind you to disarm that area. The amount of entry time is the same as the amount of exit time

set by the Exit-2 Time variable (see page 48).

EXIT-3: This normally closed zone type is used to monitor the entry/exit door for area 3 of the

system. As area 3 is armed, the piezo-sounder will beep to indicate that it is safe to leave the

area. When you enter area 3 through the EXIT-1 zone, the piezo-sounder will beep again to

remind you to disarm that area. The amount of entry time is the same as the amount of exit time

set by the Exit-3 Time variable (see page 48).

EXIT-4: This normally closed zone type is used to monitor the entry/exit door for area 4 of the

system. As area 4 is armed, the piezo-sounder will beep to indicate that it is safe to leave the

area. When you enter area 4 through the EXIT-2 zone, the piezo-sounder will beep again to

remind you to disarm that area. The amount of entry time is the same as the amount of exit time

set by the Exit-4 Time variable (see page 49).

C-EXIT: This normally closed zone type is used to monitor the exit/entry door for the common

area (e.g., a lobby). When the last area of the system is armed, the display will show FULL

ARM for a few seconds and the piezo-sounder will beep to indicate that it is safe to leave the

common area. The amount of exit time allowed is determined by the arming method used. If

each individual area has to be armed, then the exit time for the common area will be that of the
