ZONE TYPES

As received from the factory, all 100 zones in the panel are programmed as instant-acting,

AREA-1 intrusion zones. Unless indicated, the zone loops are wired normally closed, opening on

alarm. Each of the 100 zones in the panel may be programmed with a new zone type. These have

been given descriptive names and their characteristics are described in the following section:

AREA-1: This is a normally closed, instant-acting, intrusion zone type for area 1 of the system.

When area 1 is armed, a violation of this zone will operate central/monitoring station

INTRUSION panel relay output 1, output C-LEM 1, TIMED BELL panel relay output 7, output

C-LEM 7, area INTRUSION output C-LEM 31 and the event will be logged.

AREA-2: This is a normally closed, instant-acting, intrusion zone type for area 2 of the system.

When area 2 is armed, a violation of this zone will operate central/monitoring station

INTRUSION panel relay output relay 1, output C-LEM 1, TIMED BELL panel relay output 7,

output C-LEM 7, area INTRUSION output C-LEM 32 and the event will be logged.

AREA-3: This is a normally closed, instant-acting, intrusion zone type for area 3 of the system.

When area 3 is armed, a violation of this zone will operate central/monitoring station

INTRUSION panel relay output 1, output C-LEM 1, TIMED BELL panel relay output 7, output

C-LEM 7, area INTRUSION output C-LEM 33 and the event will be logged.

AREA-4: This is a normally closed, instant-acting, intrusion zone type for area 4 of the system.

When area 4 is armed, a violation of this zone will operate central/monitoring station

INTRUSION panel relay output 1, output C-LEM 1, TIMED BELL panel relay output 7, output

C-LEM 7, area INTRUSION output C-LEM 34 and the event will be logged.

AREA-5: This is a normally closed, instant-acting, intrusion zone type for area 5 of the system.

When area 5 is armed, a violation of this zone will operate central/monitoring station

INTRUSION panel relay output 1, output C-LEM 1, TIMED BELL panel relay output 7, output

C-LEM 7, area INTRUSION output C-LEM 35 and the event will be logged.

AREA-6: This is a normally closed, instant-acting, intrusion zone type for area 6 of the system.

When area 6 is armed, a violation of this zone will operate central/monitoring station

INTRUSION panel relay output 1, output C-LEM 1, TIMED BELL panel relay output 7, output

C-LEM 7, area INTRUSION output C-LEM 36 and the event will be logged.

AREA-7: This is a normally closed, instant-acting, intrusion zone type for area 7 of the system.

When area 7 is armed, a violation of this zone will operate central/monitoring station

INTRUSION panel relay output 1, output C-LEM 1, TIMED BELL panel relay output 7, output

C-LEM 7, area INTRUSION output C-LEM 37 and the event will be logged.
